The following is a real learning record of our King Tai Chi Academy student Clarence Ng from USA via the internet for about one years, so that reader can understand the scientific based Fa Jin is easily propagated. The full details will be available in the third Tai Chi book “How Tai Chi Learned?!”
Hi,
This is Clarence Ng.
I am interest in leaning the King12 moves.
I see the King12 moves demonstration video but how can I learn the detail of each movement? I need explanation that goes along with the video. Can you tell me how?
Thanks
Clarence
Clarence,
Thanks for your inquiry and understand that you could appreciate our real modern systematic Fa Jin Kung Fu. There are several ways that you can learn the King12 yourself.
(1) and (2): I will have a book published together with a web for learning kingtaichi.org . The book name is “Tai Chi Jin Mechanics-Zhao Bao Style” in Chinese [“太極拳勁之剖析(趙堡架)] by Cosmos Books, you may try to get both and learn it with limited instruction. The book has the theory written and the web(a web embedded in the App) has free materials for public and guided learning(with a charge) for Belt levels members achievers recognized by our group.
(3) In addition, there are several students who is stilling learning via the web by exchanging YouTube after giving my assignment and their homework all in video format posted. However, this use up my time even more than my private one-to-one lesson and with the in depth instructions as feedback. I will only accept limited number who is willing to learn it seriously to apply and all could finish the six month classes on the web well. The total charge has been increased to HK$10,000 each person currently.
Other reference with over 300 you tubes on the web.

Wish you may like these. Enjoy.

Pang sifu,
Thank you for taking time to answer my email personally.
I am interest in learning your systematic Fa Jin Kung Fu.
I read your first book. As a professor yourself, you know it’s difficult to understand the true meaning without any diagram drawn with the vector direction. A picture means a thousand words.
I also believe that there is no way to learn real kung fu by watching videos. Kung fu must be teach by a sifu personally present. Proverbs: Wrong hand can be changed easily but wrong strength is difficult to be modified.
I doubt if I can truly learn your Fa Jing kung fu thru the web in such a short period of time.
I need to feel you and vice versa. Unfortunately, I do not have the luxury to do so. Pang sifu, I am just 2 years younger than you. Just like you said in your video. I am over fifty. I am not a quick learner.
If you would allow me to keep in touch with you after the web training period, that may be the benefit.
Pang sifu, what can a student learn after this 6 months web class? Would you allow your student to talk to you on the phone as a channel to learn from you?
I am a person who love to ask questions. Please forgive me.
Thank you for getting back to me so quick. I appreciate.
Clarence
Dear Clarence,
Thanks for sharing your valuable experience and which based on a traditional type of teacher like my own Master.
I do believe and highly motivate that I really crack opened the mysterious force by modern Physics.
Because it based on Physics and human skeletal structure, there is a system which cognitively understandable by especially students with strong Science background. One from distance mainland China did learn to Fa Jin but as your worries I do need to ask him to come for further lesson before he can consolidate his skills. I do care about my student’s real progress. In addition he even do not have partner for interactive Fa Jin practice but in real life he recovered a lot from circulatory disease. I will also mention his case in my coming second book published 2015“Tai Chi Jin Mechanics-Zhao Bao Style” in Chinese [“太極拳勁之剖析(趙堡架)]。
Yes some of my friends did call me nake name “Professor” but not in academic sense. I did write several editions of examination Biology books and published articles via Pilot Publisher Co ltd and in several local newspapers respectively during the past 30 years with both English and Chinese version. I am very skilful in writing the things out step by step in a systematic way. And of course, I have to fix the things in language anyway because after this second book, I will go on to publish “How Tai Chi Learn!”[太極是怎樣練成的!] for trainers and students. For this reason, I will request my student to made promise that I will hold the copy right of the instructions and the video that in our common admin account.
Most of my web learning students is experience in martial art. Two web students told me they have no background. One from strong social dance background and did the Fa Jin well and later I ask him to learn from me directly and he finished the lesson mid this month Aug and went back to Canada. He find it my lesson very exciting and attractive because you can usually discovered yourself can be very strong even with the short period of training but achieved quite a great deal based on my theory of momentum Physics. Another from USA, finish learning the King12 with a full potential of Fa Jin in just three months and below is his Youtube link
Link deleted
Although with space for improvement, he did show a good potential of Fa Jin in his King12.
I do not have lot students but they all reach me actively via, say, email. Most of them followed several masters; some are very famous, learned martial art from young ages for decades and come to me with a lot of questions, like you but much more sharply. Some of the questions I do need some time to reveal through my Momentum law for one or two week, but until now not a single problem left if it were Fa Jin through touching. The area of my expertise focus on the barely a touch to pass on my body weight that one may not easily notice the Physics behind. Also, they are all very talkative, friendly and willing to share their experience. In fact I encourage them to share and exchange opinion via my Physics. They did feedback great improvement from time to time even in golf playing, dancing, and martial art of various kinds. I know that I really dissolve the nutshell and therefore I can teach in an open minded way. I mention to my students that they do not have to learn for over 10 years and of course you cannot expect to graduate tomorrow either. I estimate that it would be three to four years time just like a degree. I told them for King12, six months they can finish the movement and attain health feeling as mentioned by the above linked student Kowk in his email and he attained a good potential for generating momentum for Fa Jin and you can then understand some of my demonstrations on the YouTube.
Yes, having build up a relation between student and teacher, I am very pleased that you can keep in touch with me until occasion that you can attain master level and go on teaching in your areas still with my support but of course not for 24 hours. Give me a WhatsApp for fixing the appointment before calling because I do have other things to care also. I do believe one day, my influence in modernize Tai Chi Fa Jin can be wide and deep and wish you could be one of the person get into this big current in the history of Tai Chi.
Did you watch any of my YouTube and except me, whom the student did it the best? Where are you from? You practice any other style of Tai Chi or martial art? If have time, feel free to share.
Best regards
William Pang
Pang sifu,
I live in New York. I am practicing Ving Tsun under Wong Sheung Leung-P lineage

It emphasizes softness to generate power even though it does not look like that on the surface. That’s why I said there is no way to learn kung fu just by watching videos. There are plenty of those videos on the market to scam people for money, give people the false hope.
Since my sifu is a westener, he teaches by practical application. He does not use any Chinese proverb or idiom. A lots of useless kung fu teachers out there are just laughing stock. It’s not like the 70s that everyone crazy about kung fu. The MMA is so popular; that kung fu cannot apply in real life becomes a joke here.
I always say that HK is much civilized than US. People get into fight here much easier, starting from very young age as a kid. It seems bullying is accepted as part of growing up here in school, then into real life.
I am 52 yrs now. Learning kung fu is my interest and as an exercise for health. I do this in my spare time; I do not work that hard actually. I am ashamed.
We talk about Jing in Ving Tsun, I do feel the power from my sifu. I think I got the Jing works a little bit but it’s so tough to relax all the time especially under pressure.
I understand what you explain in your book but I need further explanation. More diagrams is better to explain the force direction and the pivot point. Here is where a good teacher comes into play.
I watch all the YouTube video about you and your student. I do believe you are a good and honest teacher. One thing I need to say about those titles of those video. I hope you do not feel offended since you ask for my opinion. I think it’s better to keep it as a simple fact rather than exaggerate it. The title gives the wrong impression as , forgive my rudeness, lie to yourself. A bit too much BS in the eye of the ordinary people especially the westerners.
Pang Sifu, I would like to learn from you if you do not mind allowing me to ask questions, even stupid repeated questions. I am not a fast learner.
I have to ask for your patience and forgiveness first.
My goal is to apply this knowledge to my Ving Tsun training.
Once stated, do I have to finish the training in 6 months continuously? I will be on vacation in Oct. and will not be able to hand in any homework.
Thanks
Dear Clarence,
You are a very mature and polite gentlemen, have your own experience and strong opinions. Thanks for your sharing and straight forward opinions about my YouTube titles which I am aware of.
In Hong Kong also, there are many people learning Wing Tsun with similar purpose as yours. One of my student who always has private lesson with me, he showed me the photo at the birthday party of Yip Man with himself and the Wong Sheung Leung mentioned in 1970s. We are going to have a performance in his birthday party this Sept in China. He got a iron rod like forearm and is in no way he can deny learning Wing Tsun for decades. He also shares the same goal as you.
He said to me he want to improve his Wing Tsun and is not in hurry at all. And always suggest ways to improve Wing Tsun by our Tai Chi Fa Jin skills which I focus our research on. He did ask quite a lot of to-the-point questions both in public and private classes. Anyway he has a science background and could understand and apply the skills ready. In addition he also wants to improve his golf techniques. He is the chairman of a golf club in Shenzhen. He has his golf ball hit to a further 30 yards and more stabilize in controlling the direction of each hit. His friends got the knee joint damaged due to bad posture and he recovered from long term knee joint pain after installing our Fa Jin system. He also said to me he want an understanding after learning so many years martial art. The mechanics of Fa Jin has been integrated by using the momentum physics which is a universal law and all grand masters must observe and follow in Fa Jin and any other kinds of sports. I also told my students plainly I have in no way knowing all that the sports they they apply our jin skills. But for those get into my Fa Jin theory and methods, I can usually spot an explanation in Physics if it not were instantaneously, could be days later. Some of my students think of the Fa Jin even after they when back home sleeping. They are quick learners and are usually with a sound science background.
Asking rational questions can fix the solutions right on the spot. I cultivate intentionally this free atmosphere among my students. And their improvement could be very fast based on these rational discussion and demonstration, and trials. I also remind them that most of our age want the Internal Fa Jin Kung Fu to be useful in improving our health and with certain degree of defense capability, we focus in the internal Fa Jin with a “fix” posture so as to ensure it is not the movement of hands, but the purely inside body weight being projected out, it also eliminate the danger from punching and damages. By this way we maintain an interest in Fa Jin and avoid the danger behind. But once the same internal Fa Jin engine installed into other sports and the performance can be improved quite a great deal.
I will usually go on more than six months until my student can attain what I want them to learn. You also have to promise me in the first email
“I agreed that the web course materials including video and discussion can only be used for your private study and the copy right retained by Master Pang.”
But if you want it to promote our tai chi, you just ask me and I will be pleased to grant it. These materials could later be used as a record for the course of progress in a third book “How tai chi can be learn”.
Many thanks and will keep explaining the things and matter to ensure you could understand what you do. Of course, as you said, on the web, not all the thing can be done.
Best Regards
William Pang
Dear Clarence,
Thanks for your pledge.
My second book is almost coming and it will have all necessary diagrams. But the importance is the understanding of how the body part join and coordinate together to work out a force structure which is the first theory lesson before you start practicing the King Twelve. After you upload your own practice video according to my explanations I will tell you where are the Fa Jin. The original Zhao Bao 72 moves haves its Jin shooting at more different angles and mechanics while the King12 written by me from the Zhao Bao 72 is specifically for the setting up of Fa Jin Kung Fu learning.
You can get inside to see whether you can find some video that I already upload inside the account. I think you can do it better than me. Because you have a good background, I think you can achieve quite a lot.
Wish you, like other, could enjoy the learning progress. I really want once you understand our King(or Jin) Tai Chi, you may try to introduce it to your other mates over NY.
Best regards
William Pang
Pang sifu,
I admire your willingness to offer your knowledge. I was attracted to your Fa Jin concept since I have been trying to apply Jin by myself and I need someone to validate what I learn from trial and error. You did not start by teaching Tai Chi. You just simply talking about how to Fa Jin which is exactly what I need. It’s good since the technique can be applied to different kind of martial arts but not just Tai Chi, even though, yours are come from Tai Chi study. You did not confine this technique to one art or one way only. This knowledge will definitely benefit to more people.
Your knowledge certainly has helped me just by receiving the validation of my own learning and knowing the correct way to Fa Jin. With the uncertainty disappearing, I only need to try to apply it correctly. It saves me a lot of time.
Pang sifu, even I cannot do your form smoothly, I have been trying to apply Jin in my Ving Tsun practice. Knowing I can ask you question whenever I puzzle, it’s a huge benefit to me.
Thank you for your patience.
Dear Clarence,
Firstly, you have to understand the gyroscope structure in our human body and its Fa Jin method.
In this beginning chapter, I will explain to you the five parts of the human body gyroscope which will be explained further in detail throughout the course. But you must realize also the difference in generating momentum. (Momentum = mass X velocity). But one prime different between a human gyroscope and a real mechanical one is the axis of rotation have its location separated from the Centre of gravity(CG) which made the Law of momentum work in producing impacting force, then the force has to be transmitted through the body board to the outside via the contact points on the limbs especially the arms.
The Gyroscope
- The pillar leg
The leg acts as a pillar usually has its shape fixed and the foot sole relaxed. Keeping the foot relaxing means the lower end of the calf bone(according to the bone direction) can insert onto the ground like a sharp end bamboo penetrate into the ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)…
The two feet is usually at a shoulder width and thus we operate in a high rack style. A high rack style combines the benefit for both Fa Jin and health.
- The pelvis CG carrier
The Pelvis bones forms a circle like ring. If the bone matter was perfectly, evenly distributed in the circle, the CG will be at the central point within the pelvis. Bone is known to support the down flowing weight and it will grow thicker along the line of stress….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… Bone movement in Fa Jin occurs at the hip joint. It is just like a snooker ball hit the ball next to it and the next ball fly away but in human hip joint, it happens in a circular way. Therefore, in fact, the momentum is a kind of angular momentum, not the same of the snooker type.
- The braking leg
This leg is important because it involves the tossing of the CG(like a heavy ball)(mass of the momentum), the striking of the CG by sacrum(velocity of the momentum), and the muscle contraction for Fa Jin angle.
- The body board which is the horizontal line above the pelvis and below the ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… with its own strength added in. The important here is to maintain the axial rod straight for the systematic control of momentum conversion.
- The limbs which is the places in contact with others in order for the passing of the Jin skillfully in a bare touch.

Pang sifu,
Base on what I read and watched, is it a correct statement that I need to pivot on either one leg when I fa jin. Pivot on left if apply force on right and vice versa. This maximize the torque using longest distance between the hip bone as the radius of the turning circle in a horizontal plane.
Thx
Dear Clarence,
You have a very sharp understanding and with clearly written out capability.
For the King12, we observe and follow this rule to build up Fa Jin capability. When the CG moves in a horizontal plane smoothly, it is the momentum for the Fa Jin in the direction concern.
But for this Stand Alone posture, the movement for Pelvis is limited by the Braking Leg. The Stand Alone is for the understanding for the 5 parts structure in Fa Jin. For a smooth Fa Jin, please stand higher or learn the King12 for FA Jin Practice. Can you tell Why I use the general formula Momentum = Mass X Velocity, in explaining Fa Jin skills? How is the Mass means the CG?
Regards
Wiliam
Pang sifu,
I think it is a very fitting explanation to use momentum to explain how the Jin force generates from the hip and transmit thru the body to the shoulder, elbow and eventually the wrist.
Gravity is one of the most consistent and influential force that human body encounters in posture and movement. If the gravity acting on every segments of the object is the same, ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… the trajectories of all of its points lie in parallel planes, and the rotation occurs only about an axis perpendicular to this plane. In this case, the body has a single moment of inertia, which is measured around this axis.
By the momentum formula, the amount of momentum of an object is proportional to the object’s mass, and to the velocity. With the mass is constant, change in velocity directly affect the amount of momentum.
The direction of momentum is the direction of the velocity. Because momentum has a direction, it can be used to predict the resulting direction of objects after they collide, as well as their speeds. The rate of change of the momentum of a particle is equal to the force F acting on it.
By the law of conservation of momentum, when our body hits another and is stopped, all its momentum will be transferred to the other body, which in turn, is the Jin force.
That’s why I think you use the physic of momentum to explain this Jin force application is very appropriate.
So far, I understand this so call “propel the hand by body”. I do not get what is to “guide your body by hand”, (a term I heard) which is what you said start with practicing form first? Am I correct?
Another question about the curving the sacrum. Should I curve the sacrum all the time or only at the moment to Fa Jin?
Thx
Dear Clarence,
Sorry for being very busy during these two months and reply you late and I usually take about one week in returning you email if there are things to explain for your specific situation.

The forearm should be horizontally hanged so that most of the arm muscle could be at rest, leaving the ligament hanging the shoulder and upper arm. Both arms should open at an intercepting angle of about 90-100 degree on the same horizontal plane.

It is quite good that you can rotate the pelvis with pivot at the hip joint a kind of ball and socket joint and if for further improvement, allow the flexing at the pelvis-thigh junction and avoid twisting force entering into the knee causing damage.
“The human body’s center of mass is always changing because it is not a fixed shape. In the standing adult human at rest, the center of gravity is in the mid pelvic cavity.”
In application, the bone hold the position of the CG because the body weight were channeled to the vertebral column bones horizontally and then flowing downwards into the pelvis bones Then the down-flowing body weight go to the thigh bone to the ground. But it is very difficult to discover how much force is flowing inside the hard substance of the bone and there is not any sensory nerve inside as it were in the muscle. ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… Thus the physical process of “Air come to Dan Ten” cab be rewritten as “the body weight or CG enter into the location called Dan Ten inside the pelvis. As the pelvis bone hold the weight from above, rotating of the pelvis as in your practice is the movement of CG, a fast turning of the pelvis is a hitting of the CG as the bone location control the location of the CG.
How about the vertebral column in the physical process “air comes to the Dan Ten” work? If a bone suddenly disappear, then the soft tissue will collapse, on the contrary, if there is no such collapse, the body shape can be seen unchanged, that is, ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… Many people misunderstand the vertebral is the axis of rotation and do harm themselves their spine. It is a channel for collecting the force or body weight and need to maintain its shape.
The lower s-curve can be straightened with the relaxation of the Braking leg. The braking leg knee can be seen moving forwards as the pelvis falls down providing space for the straightening of the S-shape vertebral column. This is the most important section in our dissolving the mysterious force in Fa Jin. Once the CG is known, and how it measured from the bones, we can train up the muscles for turning that pelvis bone in a rotation manner. Co-incidentally, the muscle for the pelvis bone projecting CG is at the largest lymph collection reservoirs thus help propelling the lymph acting in a similar way as the heart. Thus it could improve health by Fa Jin practice.
“By the law of conservation of momentum, when our body hits another and is stopped, all its momentum will be transferred to the other body, which in turn, is the Jin force.
That’s why I think you use the physic of momentum to explain this Jin force application is very appropriate.”
The Jin generated in the pelvis and has to be released through the limbs. During the transfer of momentum through the contact point, just like a snooker ball hitting another one. The point of hitting needs to be rock hard but is needed only a very small area and short time of in contact. Thus the hands releasing the Jin can be very soft before and after the Fa Jin and can involve in other action. If the point of contact is not hard enough the force will be dissolved in the space of body parts movement.
” So far, I understand this so call “propel the hand by body”. I do not get what is to “guide your body by hand”, (a term I heard) which is what you said start with practicing form first? Am I correct? Another question about the curving the sacrum. Should I curve the sacrum all the time or only at the moment to Fa Jin?”
In Zhao Bao words “Firstly, a learner start from the outside leading the inside, afterwards learn by reverse direction from inside to outside”. The outside is the movement in the limbs where can be seen. The movement inside is the trajectories of the CG. Until mature skill, the inside and outside move in the same direction, thus adding up the vector to the same direction of the Jin production and transferring process.
Curving the sacrum(收尾骨) is a process adjusting the direction of the pelvis for the projection of CG and yes you should do so. We will further discuss this important process later.
Please study the three composing Jin for the First move and upload the 4 videos.

Sorry for the delay and I am also busy in preparing a Tai Chi learning Apps in order to cope with the publication of the book. There are problem for the name of the Apps which people cannot search it directly by its name.
You do not need to cut you video which could save you time. Also my initiate in Eng is PHK and you can use you own in your video.

For the First Jin of the First move:
You were able to move the right hip side around the left side. This is good. You could also try to move it more slowly. So that during the whole movement, the front left foot always remain the pillar and it supports most of the body weight. Because as you move the weight to the right leg during the movement, the right knee will be twisted and in the long term suffer from knee pain. So that thigh bone head ball always remain fixed in 3D position during the movement comparing to you currently swinging always the weight to the right during the movement.
For the Second Jin of the First move
You are quiet good except please try to improve after stepping forwards by fixing the left thigh bone head ball as the axis for the other side to rotate and then use muscle around the hip to pull the right hip to the front from the front, not extending the right leg to push the hip forwards from behind. Because in pushing by leg it is not the hip muscle in action moving the CG. And before the Third Jin, your hip can curve around more than starting point to the point that you right hip can rotate back to the original position. Because there is not a space to go on slow rotation, you select to swing again the hip from left to right to the original position. In my following caption video,

Also further notice that there is an inclined line on my trousers at the very beginning which shows that there is a muscle being sketched. (only stretched muscle in elongated shape can have the exposing strength in contraction that follows. The muscle was sketched by relaxing right leg muscle so that the right hip fall under gravity and pulling long the muscle with it. You should feel the right sole light and must be able to hang the weight to the left pillar bone and of cause the right body side muscles relaxed.)
You may also practice video below 50 times daily (several minutes only)to harvest the benefit in healing minor problem in health.

Pang sifu,
For the First Jin of the First move:
I was puzzled about how you apply the force on the 1st session Link deleted. Since I look at this application video, Link deleted, you need to hit opponent on the right elbow/shoulder.
I was moving my weight from left to right with the right hip rotate pivoting on the left leg, all at the same time.
For the correct motion, my question is while my body weight is on my left leg, should I apply jin or complete my right hip turning action totally with my weight on my left foot? Then move my weight to the right foot afterward?
Clarence
Dear Clarence,
Please send your email to this address (deleted) which is specific for your study and I have to refers to those upload video in this same account in YouTube.
Thanks for your practical mind, your question related to the transmission of Jin to the shoulder or elbow from the pelvis and the ways to release.
I was puzzled about how you apply the force on the 1st session Link deleted. Since I look at this application video, Link deleted, you need to hit opponent on the right elbow/shoulder.
The right leg which are turning open if were step firmly cannot be relocated quick in forwards step to hold the mid central line of opponent. Attached a new video clip for your study.
Link deleted
And usually, we seldom talk about the foot because of the high risk associated. The shoulder should also has a C-shape turning to synchronize with other muscle to release the Jin produced.
I was moving my weight from left to right with the right hip rotate pivoting on the left leg, all at the same time.
Yes, rotation is correct but the swinging of weight from left to right involve another floating lever which is in a straight line tract and is a way to produce impacting power by say rolling of snooker ball method but not the the dissolve of ball internal to two sides to produce internal strength in Fa Jin internal Kung Fu. The result is easily moved by other.
Link deleted
The above two videos may need further explanation or a “touch” with you. But at least, they let you understand that I tackled the similar problems with my students in releasing and transmitting of Jin. Then we can focus back to the production of Jin for our course. But you feel free to raise question if you could understand the two videos.
For the correct motion, my question is while my body weight is on my left leg, should I apply jin or complete my right hip turning action totally with my weight on my left foot? Then move my weight to the right foot afterward?
I think you can stand with most of the body weight hanging on the left pillar top. Then when you moving the CG towards the back to a certain distance then the body weight has to hang over to the hind leg.
The reason is that in order to stand stable, one must has its CG on the top of foot sole area or between two foot ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… if you hand in more body weight into the pillar before jin production, it could be better to both jin production and knee protection. Spiral-to-the-front increases the distance to speed up the CG velocity. Because whenever you step firmly on ground, you twist the pelvis, the knee suffer and the Jin do not have a velocity (cannot speed up as the braking leg nail CG to the attached ground) and collectible CG weight (as the leg already support the weight and there is not much weight left to be throwing backwards) to reach its max.
Therefore, you already mention the answer in your question part, I just give you the reason behind from momentum formula.
Exciting to see your next upload.
Best regards
William
Sifu,
Please take a look with my Link deleted again.Thx
Dear Clarence,
Link deleted
Your improvement and effort are obvious.
Only that the muscles coordination between different parts of the body according to the pelvis rotation is not yet smooth enough. This can be improved by more practice. The below for your exercise say 50 times daily.
Link deleted
Why is the rotation of pelvis representing a movement of CG?
In according to the momentum theory, a mass body must be in motion in order to produced momentum, the force of impact. The motion can be externally, just like a snooker ball rolling forwards or a man running, thus the CG will be moving in a straight line manner….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… When we push the table forwards, the CG also move forwards. The case in the table is that the table has been pushed to gain an externally transmitted momentum. In our pelvis, the pelvis bone mass has its socket(upper part of the ball and socket joint)holding the ball of the thigh bone so that the pelvis bone can turn around the pillar ball, producing an internally angular momentum, but still when the momentum is releasing, we use a tangent to toss the impact towards the other, then it also appears to be in a straight line manner.
Why the weight of the muscle does not taken into account the analysis for the position of CG?
Because the skeleton is build for the support of muscle and body mass by is hard substance of the bone. For example, if we put a lump of pork onto the table, still the pork weight will go to the ground through the table top and legs.It is only that the bone is now supporting more weight but our bone will not give us sensation as it carry….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… thus producing a straighten shape for the vertebral column. The two shoulder joints also move to the front so as to lock the shape of the vertebral column, thus the weight will flow downwards entering the pelvis. Once the CG location is known, we will project it by using the muscle attaching onto the pelvis, but not the muscle else where.
We use the four jin ways to produce internal momentum
Bound: to fix the body into five parts of a gyroscopic system
Let: let the other’s jin go in their own direction
Squeeze: turning our own CG towards the other like a crash
Hang: release the joint to hang our body weight onto other
All the jins involved the control of CG. And Bound is fixing an internal structure for the running of Jin inside our own body. Let and Squeeze are the horizontal movement of CG, towards the back and towards the front respectively. Hang is letting the CG going towards the earth centre.
The Fa Jin engine is the muscle attaching onto the pelvis from different directions

With the gyroscopic structure setting up:
- left leg as the pillar with fixed position

1.Next time you may upload the first time slot 006(of Link deleted) for the four jin ways practice for me.
2.At the same time keep practice 50 times daily for the 1st movement until you can do it both sides.
Next time we will expect to fa jin according to the directions of the Four Jin ways muscles if everything goes smoothly. When are you having your holidays?
Best regards
William
Pang sifu,
One question, I thought you want to see my pelvis movement be seen more obviously than subtly. If you want the muscle movement more smoothly, I’ll do so.
I am going to Europe on vacation today till Oct. I’ll try to do the first and last moves form everyday. I was wondering why the form only put my weight on my left leg mainly but not the other side. Now you answer my question. I need to practice both side. 50 times is quite challenging too. Now I know I never use some of those muscles before.
I won’t be able to learn the new stuff until I am back. It’ll take a while for me to get back to you next time.
Sorry about that Sifu.
Dear Clarence,
You have been quite an advance student and could realize the seldom use muscles. Please enjoy your vocation first, because it is a flexibility that you learn on the web.
Awaiting for you feedback and starting more on the Jin side.
Regards
William
Dear Clarence,
Back from holiday yet? Wish you enjoy your journey and take a good rest.
William
Pang sifu,
Please take a look at my upload.
Thx

Should have the thigh bone top ball fixed during the process. In fact, if you can fix the thigh bone ball well enough, your other hip side is just a swinging process remaining for the whole taped movement. Also, avoid a “sitting” move during the start of “let” which forms another Jin that will be detected by others and delay the effect of let.
The hip bone should turn more forwards to the front to gain a loner distant for speeding up the rotation as the momentum impacting force is directly proportional to the velocity of a weighting.
The LET jin:
The let jin(let go according to their will) is to avoid a direct head on collision with the other, thus we connecting them with our hand making them on the circumference of the rotation but our CG closer to the pivot thigh bone ball(the point that does not turn). ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… 2. twisting the momentum upwards to the body board, and the body board muscle join in to increase the twist as th jin move upwards, 3. keep the board axis upright during the turning of body board, and 4. fix the elbow and should joint as firm as possible for that 1/100 second to let go the jin, you only use strength to fix the scaffolding structure, soft both before and after.
Link deleted
The body weight impact has an important properties differs from using hand. It is heavier, all at a sudden pass on, without hand(e.g. elbow) movement. You could try to use “Let” with people in order to be sure on how it works. Any question can return to me.
Link deleted
This is the exact Let jin you are doing in the video with the right hand only and the last shoot is correctly done with the pivot fixed, CG moving with sufficient distance to speed up, and the right hand fixed for releasing the jin at that moment. The video before this one is also the same Let jin but with both hands to be tight at the moment of releasing jin.

Pang sifu,
Just to be clear, when I perform the following:
Link deleted Jin Bound
Link deleted Jin Let
Link deleted Jin Squeeze
Link deleted Jin On
I need to fix my Left leg’s thigh bone ball joint for the whole process. All my weight should be put on my Left leg.
Is that correct?
If that is correct, then I will not be able to move my weight back onto my Right leg like a “sitting” motion before I start the Jin Squeeze?
It may be more helpful to me if you can clearly point out which leg I should set my pivot and put my weight on when you post the video for me. I am confused sometime.
Thx
Dear Clarence,
Thanks for your returning question.
The Details of the Four Jin
For each of the following, detail explanation follows:
Link deleted Jin Bound
Ensure the muscle, bone and joint are in proper position as if a gyroscope has been installed onto your skeletal structures. Link up the path for Jin to travel in between pelvis and limbs ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… ix position only for a very short moment which usually go unnoticed. Yes, stand on the front leg.
Link deleted Jin Let
Yes, stand on the front leg, say left leg and fix it as the pivot, turn the pelvis bone(observe the hip position) towards the back by contracting muscles connecting ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… iron ball backwards and the hip will lower a little bit if the right leg is relaxed. You may try standing higher.
Please review the video and look for a deep crack line on the pelvis triangle side
Link deleted –the preparing stand at end of time slot 001
Link deleted –at time slot 000
Link deleted –Most clearly and repeated
All shows a deep inverted triangular line between pelvis and thigh on the pillar side. This line is important appearance because it indicates the muscles contraction to the maximal location and towards the pillar, in some sense you may say the pelvis coil around the pillar giving you a sense that the muscle at the crack is congesting each other with it bulk. ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… relaxed and stretched can have contraction power that throw our iron ball located inside pelvis. Coiling around the pillar also allow you more distance to speed up the throwing process.
By using the term coil in the preparatory position, then Let means an un-coil process towards the back. Near the end of the uncoiling process, let the pelvis fall slowly by having the back thigh just touch it. It forms the upper half of the C-shaped rail of the hip(CG).
“thigh just touch it” means as follow:
When you are holding a small bird in hand, if the bird want to take off. the bird legs must press you hand hard, but you let fall you hand and do not allow it to gain the reaction force to take off but without losing the bird in hand. This happen when the C-shape rail has it turning downwards, your hind leg is the “hand” keep touching the CG but does not allow a reaction force to occur.
Remember to curve around the pelvis towards the front before Let movement that would allow you longer distance to speed up the CG during Let.
Link deleted Jin Squeeze
Jin Squeeze is the lower part of the C-shape rail. In fact it just like recoiling by running along the lower part of the C-shape via the pelvis muscles connecting the pillar, NOT a straightening the hind leg to get a forwards momentum, which is an external momentum….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… that my ankle touch the ground at one point only to reduce the friction during the turning of feet sole. These rules apply to Let also.
You can only turn your sole at near the ankle if it were lightly grounded. You can refers to (I turn once for Let and Once for Squeeze)
Link deleted time slot 015-019
In fact, Let and Squeeze are using the same set of muscles in opposite direction.
If we just swing the CG along the C-shape rail, there is not much Jin, but it can help us to get familiar with rail. But the Let and Squeeze can be reinforce by active muscle contraction in the pelvis region and that along the body board, thorax and abdomen. But the lever of the gyroscope must be maintained, that is why the shape is so important. The shape maintained by the Bound guarantee the correct lever is still in effect when the muscle engine is running in its full power. After Squeeze, the pelvis should has been returned to the original position.
Link deleted Jin ON
I need to fix my Left leg’s thigh bone ball joint for the whole process. All my weight should be put on my Left leg.
Is that correct?
Yes.
Jin ON means a process of hanging body weight ON to your partner. Once you have your hand fixed in top position, unlock all joints on the pillar leg because the brake leg is mostly unlocked already. Once the joint was unlocked the body will fall down and I use ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… 2. My both hands move downwards to transfer the Jin ON. About the hands, always maintain them in a fixed position of your own forearm length whenever possible. You can fix both hands to release the Jin ON also as mention. But as moving downwards is having the same direction of the earth gravity, it can increase the Jin. Only that in for later, you can further increase it by body board muscles, should muscle and arm strength in appropriate angle.
Reason for the Four Jin Naming in English- by meaning
Try to understand Jin ON from its name and you can understand why I select this name for it. Compare with Jin Let and Squeeze, Jin ON is more relaxing, delivering more force power in a shorter time and without a trace in movement. It takes effect before any movement can be observed. For Jin Squeeze and Let, they do have a very small ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… shape for producing and projecting the Jin. The Jin will travel inwards and outwards within body structure(we use gyroscope to represent the structure for Jin Bound), we magnify or dissolve the Jin travel forwards and backwards in other lesson on gyroscope.
Suggestion to attain the Rail first
Overall, you try to stand higher just in normal walking step (higher than my video) and you will found it much easier to have the CG swing as a heavy flying wheel but easily keep the pillar in position.
It is also important that you reap the benefit of regular practice daily.
Wish you enjoy the theory and practice.

William
Dear Clarence,
Just upload another video to help you distinguish the effect between sit and swing.
Link deleted
Wah does both sit and swing in the video during Fa Jin.
Sit is directly downwards to the earth while wah swing in a circular path, with muscle actively contracting. Please compare his movement of the right pelvis corner between the two exercises.
The sit you did before is moving to the back and if the inertia were caught by partner, then you may fall and sit on the ground. This is concerning the direction of momentum.
Pang sifu,
Please check out my Link deleted.
Thx
Clarence
The name for the fourth jin, I change the English to ON Jin just as putting the weight onto someone. In Chinese the the four Jin Ways(四正法) is Bound, Let, Squeeze and ON(棚履擠按),They are Bound, Let, Squeeze and On. It sound similar and also tell the meaning. The bound(棚)is wrongly written because of my Chinese writer problem.
This video explains everything for me clearly. Thank you.
Pang sifu,
you can write all the explanation to me in Chinese. I just can’t type Chinese in email, don’t know how to do it. Are you teaching fulltime or part time now?
Dear Clarence,
Thanks for your information so that I know where you go. Kindly have it work out on your body mechanics and upload it.
My Chinese writer is not good at all which drag me sluggish in my work. Although I have Chinese material stored in other web teaching accounts, but I prefers more personal advice for you and will add more traditional Chinese terms to help you.
I am teaching tai chi full time after retired from as a senior teacher. I started to use Physics and biology to teach Fa Jin to my students several years ago. As I wrote the first book, I was able to solve out the mechanics in Fa Jin with modern terms. The process took time and experience. As I encourage students to have discussion they bring me many YouTube of those very famous grand masters, not only tai chi grand masters, but other marital art celebrities, and even other sports like dancer, golf players etc. ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… background, could understand and realize the powerful Fa Jin after my explanation on their own body structures relatively easy. How could I be so sure that I really got into the kernel of Fa Jin? The most important thing that I distinguish is that Fa Jin power comes from body weight which obeys law of momentum and is always confused with limb muscle dragging actions. Once you understand the two system and rule, the two systems will start to work together empowering you even more. Several of my students is able to draw the same conclusion after just about two years of training from their own area of expertise. They are able to comment the quality of the other martial arts and sports with the kernel of Jin. I could capture the gravitational Fa Jin effect is due to my solid experience in Fa Jin, my strong science background and being excellent in teaching people to understand. My influence in the area will be great and extensive if cultivated properly.
I set up a web learning Apps to promote the basic fa Jin skills in ten levels of the college modules type based on the Fa Jin 12 moves. Because we have the science and we can break the training into sensible, and still interesting, parts which is rarely seen among the tradition martial arts schools. I do think that the students can ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… will go on to finish writing a third book “How Tai Chi can be learn!” to finish launching this revolutionary process in the martial arts history, it is a corner stone. With the science in Tai Chi Jin, it is hopefully that our effort could one day build tai chi into Chinese systematic training for primary, secondary and university students which can really representing Chinese people, like the other martial arts representing other countries say Japanese, Korea etc.
Once, you understand the kernel of Fa Jin, ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… for being skillful in applying Jin unlike those ancient saying “it is no less than 10 years”. Of course, if we can have an opportunity to meet it could feel it more solid personally.
Sharing sometime that I want to do and wish you could be in between sooner and sooner.

William
Dear Clarence,

If the width of your legs could be wider not too deep as now, so that the pelvis can face back directly to the front, the CG could be more stable hitting towards the centre of a front standing person….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… front more so that the CG could have a longer distant to speed up to the back for later. The longer the rail, the faster it can speed up. Your axis is not moving now, that is great.
You may refers to my this video and try to relax the pelvis muscle and let it fall under gravity to coil and then swing back in a smooth circular manner..

Where the turning of body board is after the Pelvis and the hands are more relaxing until the moment you want to pass the Jin out.
In order to cope with the heavy weight when passing the Jin out, the elbow, should be more closely to the body. If it is not, the angle of the elbow is larger then 90 degree, it become difficult to maintain the fixed shape to let go the Jin. Try both hand doing the same on the same lin, not that one before another hand. Think of when you throw people away, if the elbow is too far away, it will increase in its angle and dissolve….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… will not get the directional change when travelling towards the opponent. After, your hand is not involved in jobs and thus is able to grab and fire next moves while other is still in air. However, the hand must be fix during the pass on of momentum as it is a hard snooker ball. This is the assumption in conservation of momentum during the transfer of momentum, if it were to be complete, the balls must be hard.
For the video below,

The different is small but still clearly seen. The first time, the right hip is down straightly towards the earth. The second time the right hip is running in a C-shape first towards the opponent and release the body weight along a circular path then ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… to centre of the earth has to decelerate and stop and has to fa another Jin. The opponent has a chance in between the two jins. This is the LET but go downwards to the back and combining the On Jin which toss the body weight onto the other. You may try and just remember to turn the right hip more coil to the front before starting the C rail. The video did shows this extra movement, try to spot it out before trying.
Please have
- Link deleted upload next time. You last tube is OK in swing and produce the momentum, but as the rail of the CG become more circular, the speed of the CG can be maintained.
- Test yourself to show the release of Jin by turning the pelvis , the shoulder, then strengthen the elbow. In the process, arm only tighten at the one tenth of a second for the Jin to pass out, ie relaxes your hands before and after.
- Link deleted. See whether you can spot the different and follow the circular rail of CG.
Sorry that I am very busy in preparing the Book and the Apps which must be out in mid of January and you are a bit very fast compare to other of my other web students.
Wish you enjoy the exploring process only to discover you can reach you full potential in the Tai Chi levers.

Pang sifu,
Please check the three assignments.
No rush, I know you are busy. Sorry for taking so long and so much if your time.
Dear Clarence,
Thanks for your assignment and they are of high quality and it is clear that you have a very firm grab of the Physics behinds.

only that the Jin ON, you could demonstrate to other that you have release the body weight to let it free fall thus releasing the pressure inside joints at the moment, by turning the left ankle open(I did not turn it in that video). And it will allow more space for you to drag your right side of the body forwards.
Link deleted
It is OK with the Fa Jin power coming up to hands from the hip spinning.
Link deleted
Your hip did the circle correctly.
While you finish the Jin Let with the above videos, you may go on to try the Jin Squeeze, which moves the CG on a direct hit onto others.
Link deleted
This is Jin Squeeze by shooting the CG slowly at the circumference from pelvis to the hand position. It is the largest lever on the human gyroscope. The lever magnification is a factor of the circumference moved by the hip divided the corresponding vertical distance moved by the hip….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… to pushy you slowly and horizontally on you arms in a single direction of ONE Jin. You arm need not use strength. For you partner to be firing away, like Chu in the video, he needs Jin Bound to bound himself like a rattan ball or basketball. He should also stand manly on front leg in order to be fire away and on the behaviour of motion, we can understood your JIn’s direction, and impacting force magnitude.
This is the Jin Squeeze produced by turning pelvis and have the jin released on the pelvis. The video below is the transmission of Jin Squeeze to the shoulders. The first student is body builder and learn a lot of martial art from different areas. In fact, he at that time, wants to test me and thus can be seen pushing really hard on me.

Pang Sifu,
1) May I ask that in ” Link deleted “,you said you transmit the Jin Squeeze to the shoulders. Did you pivot on your right hip and apply the jin from your left at Louise?
I want to understand this because Louise push you evenly onto both your shoulders.
When I watched this video a while ago, I thought you just relax to redirect the pushing force to the ground but I do not know you apply Squeeze Jin back to the opponents too.
2) ” Link deleted “, all your movement are from the pelvis include the one time slot @015?
The first one time slot @006 is the Squeeze Jin at level to your opponent? The one @ 030 is to apply Squeeze Jin from low to high thru the pelvic?
Thx
Dear Clarence,
You are most welcome.
1) May I ask that in ” Link deleted “,you said you transmit the Jin Squeeze to the shoulders. Did you pivot on your right hip and apply the jin from your left at Louise?
YES. But there are other muscles which can help to project the force horizontally along the body board. Better focus on the control of turning pelvis first.
I want to understand this because Louise push you evenly onto both your shoulders.
He is not always even in force apply, you have to sense and response. Without reaction to handle the forces from two sides, it is likely you become furniture. The people from Louise’s back will keep his hand on my shoulders. The forwards straight line force from the hind leg lowers and thus the front leg forwards seen, and pressing the CG forwards. The hip on the hind leg has to relax to allow it entering the rail and swing in a C-shape manner as usual. That is on both sides of should, it appears as forwards by turning and pressing the two sides of gyroscope at the same instant.
When I watched this video a while ago, I thought you just relax to redirect the pushing force to the ground but I do not know you apply Squeeze Jin back to the opponents too.
We turn the portion of the gyroscope that carry the weight, CG, and this made the momentum effective to stop the force going into us. During the interaction, if a heavy wood stand there and could have no movement, it will be overcome by a single direction force(Jin) finally. Thus a force must be produce to stop the progress of….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… Thus as the hip short-distance downwards moving vector was propelled by the long horizontally moving vector, the lever force produced will be delivered via the pillar leg towards the ground. The moving hip must gain and roll on the absorb rail pivot on the pillar, just like a screw pinning in the wood by turning. The structure of gyroscope has to be clearly understood.
2) ” Link deleted “, all your movement are from the pelvis include the one @015?
As mentioned above, the body board did take in function, but in principle, it is the turning of CG in pelvis that produces a twisting action on my arm.
The first one @006 is the Squeeze Jin at level to your opponent?
It is the left hip swing in a C-shape rail to produce the momentum to toss Ben away.
The one @ 030 is to apply Squeeze Jin from low to high thru the pelvic?
YES. You observe accurately.
Once you can do the above one, you may try the other three ways to swing you body weight to other in a single walking step shown in video just upload.
Link deleted
In order to be useful and safe, the fa jin has to be accomplish in just a walking step, it is the coordination of time, then swing the CG out.
Have fun as we do not intend to be champion but enjoy the fun in fa jin kung fu, think the reason and work it out in practice safely.
Regards
William
Pang sifu,
I know I am jumping way ahead but I am really curious on how do you apply this Jin technique to kicking? And how to practice it if the momentum theory works on kick too?
Thx
Clarence,
You are welcome. For punching with the hand, the body weight has to go through the body board and for ticking the body weight goes directly from pelvis. Must understand the tossing of body weight method. That is the way it generate the momentum. Please finish the current one and could send you the punching video next time.
Sure
Pang sifu.
Thx
Pang sifu,
I have questions about long jin(長勁). I know I am starting with the single fa jin(單一發勁). I would like to understand the goal on how the jin spiral(纏絲勁) being executed.
Once I realize how to perform the jin spiral(纏絲勁), it will help me to practice the long jin(長勁)better now.
I am the kind of person like to look into the future to make sure I am not doing something wrong that may deviate further from the goal in the future.
Base on what you said in this video.

And in this video,

Also seeing the Link deleted.
I understand the hip on the hind leg has to relax to allow it to enter the rail and swing in a C-shape manner. This Squeeze Jin is to counteract the front incoming force. My question is the Rail has limited distance, you show the rail here, Link deleted @ 0.25. Once my hip finish travelling the short distance and arrive at the end of that rail, I have nothing left to apply the Squeeze Jin forward. I will be overrun by the opponent’s incoming force as you said in your seminar Link deleted
@ 1:42 to 3:45.
How fast should my hip turn so that I do not run out of the rail distance?
A further question, how the Jin be executed to become jin spiral(纏絲勁)? In other word, how to transition from one Jin to another Jin without leaving an empty gap in between while I run out of rail to travel?
And how can I apply long jin(長勁) constantly so it can be like water to sip thru any crack at the very moment the opponent lose the forwarding force during a transition of movement?
That means either I can squeeze pass the gate of the opponent or being overrun by the opponent in the nick of time during a Jin transition from one to another.
I know it is a long question,. It may be way over my head now. I really like to understand the mechanic now so I can be sure what I am trying to figure out in my mind now is not deviate from the truth.
按勁:
You asked me why Mic fail to do so.
Link deleted
I can see that Mic’s body weight did not apply onto the opponent because the legs were still holding the body weight.
I have a question on how should I apply 按勁 correctly.
You said ” referring to my Link deleted last action with both hands moving towards the ground, my left foot did turn a little bit pivot at the ankle very smoothly because I relax the leg joint when press my hand ON to the other. If no pressing ON, the turn of the foot could harm the knee. This small action shows that I release the Jin ON and turn open the foot for next Jin5 which is a vertical circle.”
My question is in order to apply the JIN ON, I have to relax BOTH leg joint. Base on the move in Link deleted, the Left leg is the pivot leg. I do not feel the ON Jin is powerful enough just by relaxing both leg joint since the pivot leg, left leg, still support the body weight pretty much even the left leg joint is relax. I can feel more ON power on the right side if my right pelvis drop along with relaxing the right leg joint.
So what should I do to get the maximum ON Jin? Just relax both leg joints or more?
Thx
Dear Clarence,
Yes, I am very delighting when knowing you are actively seeking for answer of your questions from practice although I am entangled in seminar and promotion matters. Also preparing some material for the answer you are looking for.
1.I have questions about 長勁. I know I am starting with the 單一發勁. I would like to understand the goal on how the 纏絲勁 being executed.
Once I realize how to perform the 纏絲勁, it will help me to practice the 長勁 better now.
I am the kind of person like to look into the future to make sure I am not doing something wrong that may deviate further from the goal in the future.
The problem of generating a LONG Jin is to maintain a force unceasingly over a long period of time. As the hands are pressing on opponent, there is no room for the hand to get a distance forwards. Even if the hand are moving forwards the momentum is not ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… of body board twisting the shoulders and then transmitting outwards. Thus the hands must be maintain in shape like arcs and being squeezed by the turning barrel of the body board. Please have a look on the video upload for you.

The students are testing the other by long jin. Both are using the long jin by spining the hip bone forwards slowly. Only if the defending one have something wrong, will he be toss away.

How fast should my hip turn so that I do not run out of the rail distance?
The hind leg like the incline side of a triangle, if the foot is fixed, you lower down the hip slowly, it is also pushing the CG forwards and downwards but in another plane. Thus the C-shape combine with this other plane movement is a spiral in shape. But there is still an end to the spiral, and it comes much later. Usually, it will be able to hold the opponent already. The key is to go other plane.
A further question, how the Jin be executed to become 纏絲勁? In other word, how to transition from one Jin to another Jin without leaving an empty gap in between while I run out of rail to travel?
As answer above. That is the reason that we need the hip ball and socket joint design to let the engine ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… is not possible to do so. In the tai chi double fish diagram, you can understand the eye of fish being a heavy ball sinking down into a vertical plane if the diagram is horizontally oriented, then the circle on a plane will become spiral in shape.
- And how can I apply長勁constantly so it can be like water to sip thru any crack at the very moment the opponent lose the forwarding force during a transition of movement?
When I took those videos last Tue, I am testing their jin problems in three stage and it is difficult to tell without a touch. But just let your mind peace, I maintain a long jin to detect their jin features and will collapse their stand if they are
- moving backwards
- are not moving
- not moving in a perfect circle.
In the ancient saying, the circle should have a good quality of even speed and smooth without rough and knob.
4.That means either I can squeeze pass the gate of the opponent or being overrun by the opponent in the nick of time during a Jin transition from one to another.
The above mentioned you detect the opponent. This question focus on you defend against opponent coming in. You must be able to react by using a circle at the first instance before force enter Because a snooker ball will just fly away if it hit by a flying one except it can start turning to interact in time. If opponent are tossing you shoulder or other parts, others skills are involved.
- I know it is a long question,. It my be way over my head now. I really like to understand the mechanic now so I can be sure what I am trying to figure out in my mind now is not deviate from the truth.
Yes, I also wish you can grab our skills and organize your own class in your side with the support of our web. Because I really know that I unlock the ancient myth by modern physics and wish the interesting and healthy fa jin could influence the all around the world.

The first level is to release both leg joints and let the body weight to hang ON to the other. At this first level skills, both foot must be turn open to allow a free fall of body weight, and at this time you need to have a fix frame to transmit the body weight to others. This can be seen on the link for at time about 1min demon

The left hip turn almost on a horizontal plane by twisting the waist muscle. Thus the leg muscle seems to add some force at the end of the movement. Your lower part of the vertebrate column will have to sustain the twisting action of the muscle and the left leg thigh bone also lock and prevent the free fall of the body weight(precisely the left pelvis). Thus the weight being projected is mainly the one around the waist. The ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… pelvis(not that of waist) to swing and toss CG to-and-fro to learn the nature rhythm, then with a force faster than that natural rhythm, an even more powerful impact or momentum will be generated at that pelvis region-here is the generation(production) of JIn characterized by its direction. (towards opponent =Jin Squeeze; away opponent =Jin Let, Up and down the earth =Jin On). But the most difficult is the right leg which service the function of brake and we have to learn release the brake within the very close distance within the ball and socket joint. A proper method for this specific Move is to drag the hind leg forwards by the muscles from pelvis end. In addition, if the right thigh bone could be more vertical, ie standing in higher position, with the muscle in front pelvis pull the left side to the right hip ball, you may avoid stretching the hind leg to assist, as the pillar is almost able to hold the CG very close to left ankle vertical.
A small reminder: If you can do this Move by having the line joining the two hips corners horizontally to the ground line and this allow me to look more precisely the position of the two foot.
It may be very long, but it describe why your step could be roll out the CG ball but has to punch it from behind because the CG is too far behind now.
Link deleted
The first swing is good with reasonable smooth rail and the left hip corner are seen from horizontal to lower to horizontal again compare with the right hip corner. Standing high with the thigh bone more vertically hang could do a swing better. Standing high also allow the CG get closer to the pillar feet area from above.

referring to my Link deleted last action with both hands moving towards the ground, my left foot did turn a little bit pivot at the ankle very smoothly because I relax the leg joint when press my hand ON to the other. If no pressing ON, the turn of the foot could harm the knee. This small action shows that I release the Jin ON and turn open the foot for next Jin5 which is a vertical circle. Therefore you may start Jin5 after both hand are lowered and the hip and foot turned open.

The punch belong JIn Squeeze which means swinging the CG towards the opponent and it comes in different forms like punching.
….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… the core with another force come flying inside the core(Fist). You may refers to my Tai Chi Jin Mechanics DVD where I practice more and is more power in fa Jin. In order to have the body weight effect, the pelvis must be turn in the manner mentioned above. The movement of the pelvis is the equivalent of the CG, for theory it is explained in the first book.

There are a lot of problem in the King Tai Chi Academy system and appreciate your understanding. I also send you a summary of our pass and future development, wish could also spend sometime reading it. If you watch the youtube search by keyword kingtaichi series, there are 01-30 short video of our Sat talk which give you some idea, we are small but have huge influence. Alll the five preface writer are with me although one refers to give a talk. We could be fast with the open learning web as the central support for you and other if opportunity arise.

Pang Sifu,
Q:This video for you to understand Jin ON in which Mic fail to do so and why? what is the difficulties to overcome if it were to success?
Link deleted
A: I see that the Jin ON Mic fail to do because he just extend his arms to try to apply force downward which does not have the CG include into it.
It’s all upper body strength but not the whole CG force downward.
Please check out my upload. I can see that my legs are not wide enough when I pivot on the right leg side on the Link deleted.
Dear Clarence,

Fine
Link deleted
At 009, there is jumping of the front leg pillar caused by the hip rail. If the right hip toss body weight on a path similar to an iron disc on a plane closer to that of horizontal, would be better. The hip rail is pulling the pillar head away from a fixed position as it move. The result is opposition could move you forwards easily as the pillar is not very effective. Compare with my upload where my pillar is still stable right after the punch

Since the Jin ON has not any sign observable, will try to search other materials in order for you to understand it more including

The rail is fine. The first jin is to allow the hip to fall and swing it forwards to create a longer path for the Jin LET throw the CG towards the back. Can do it softer and smoother the whole process into a more circular path for later improvement.
Please study the Crane Wing

There are three Jins also propelled by the CG momentum in pelvis.

Pang sifu,
Happy New Year.
I am a slow learner. You can take your time. I am in no rush. Take care of your business first, it’s actually better for me to digest as long as you allow me to interact with you constantly.
One quick question:
You said Link deleted – The Second Jin in use……..is it a typo? Do you really mean ” Second Jin”?
You asked me if I am confident in keeping a Long Jin for a long duration.
I am not 100% sure how to apply it correctly since I cannot feel it myself. I am testing the theory and apply to my Ving Tsun Poon Sau , 盤手,exercise which uses Long Jin. I know I am not fully grasp the essence yet.
Also, your Fa Jin Ads video is great. It shows when to Fa Jin during the moves sequence clearly. Great material for learning.
Dear Clarence,
You said Link deleted – The Second Jin in use……..is it a typo? Do you really mean ” Second Jin”?
The Start Move, the Crane Wing Wing both compose of three consecutive Jins. The One I mean is the 2nd in sequence in Crane Wing which is in fact a compound Jin of LET-ON, however, I only shows the On Jin so that you could understand Jin On better.
The 38 Jins in sequence has been list in www.kingtaichi.org and I will further post another 300 hundreds tubes for teaching the Fa Jins after CNY.
You are a stable and firm step learner. Yes, It is difficult as it is mention and wish some days we may meet so that you can test on your personal physical limit of fa Jin physics on human lever. I just want to know your progress on long jin and in case could add my opinion.
Feel free to discuss as our system is able to hold and dissolve problems mechanically so far. It also increases your experience. If I do not know those that you mention, I will tell you right the way also. Wish you could achieve your personal potential limit in this year of Goat.
Happy Chinese New Year.

William
Pang sifu,
Sorry about the delay. I am busy with work the last week.
Question about the單邊三勁.
I want to be clear of where is the three Jin. Base on what I observe from
Link deleted
The 1st Jin is you pivot on the Left foot, turn your hip to the Right. Your Left hand put on the top of Right hand.
The 2nd Jin is you pivot on the Right foot, turn you hip to the Right. You Left hand put under the Right hand.
The 3rd Jin is still pivot on the Right foot, turn your hip back to Left facing front. 迴旋 as you said.
Is it all three Jin are 履Jin?
On Jin is not in anyone of the Jin in 單邊三勁 or On Jin is in the 3rd Jin.
Thx
Dear Clarence,
The 1st Jin is you pivot on the Left foot, turn your hip to the Right. Your Left hand put on the top of Right hand.
The 1st Jin is you pivot on the Left foot, turn your hip from left to the Right for the 1st Jin 迴旋. The left hand on the left side of right hand wrist.
The 2nd Jin is you pivot on the Right foot, turn you hip to the Right. You Left hand put under the Right hand.
The 2nd Jin is you pivot on the Right foot, turn you hip to the Right. You Left hand put under the Right hand with left hand finger pointing to the opposition neck.
The 3rd Jin is still pivot on the Right foot, turn your hip back to Left facing front. 迴旋 as you said.
Yes
Is it all three Jin are 履Jin LET?
The first jin, right hand release the jin by U-turn(迴旋) Jin SQueeze sideway.
The second jin left hand strike direct to opposition going through the right wrist, Squeeze.
The third jin, is compound jin Squeeze and ON.
On Jin is not in anyone of the Jin in 單邊三勁 or On Jin is in the 3rd Jin.
From the direction of hand movement, the downwards component is On, the horizontal component is Squeeze. In between Second and third Jins, the finger pointing forwards on an inclined plane which avoid a direct force impact and open a new circle to Squeeze-ON.

It is good only that the leg(thigh muscle) does not move by itself. Could drage the relaxed leg by the pelvix momentum inertia, that is after the spin of the pelvis.
Link deleted
The Pillar and pelvis is more correct than the hand.
The spin of pelvis, you got it. Only that you should put the leg down onto the ground whenever possible because if it were not touch the ground on its own weight, you must be using certain muscle to pull that part upwards, but we need to relax all muscle for other agile action ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… to the forearm by keeping the wrist straight. It increase the length of finger for defense. In Jin 1, the forearm cannot move backwards as the opposition is from the front. By moving backwards you limb give opportunity by negative vector. You may keep it in position first and wait until the pelvis turn into proper position, then both the forearm and pelvis forwards and towards the opposition.
Try the fa jin in

Please review.
I login and see that you posted some new video last week.

These are in great detail. Thank you. I am fully understand how the JIN3 movement now.
One question on the position of the body weight. In the Link deleted video. You pivot on your left leg, and lift your right hip to Left first thru a vertical C-motion then to exert Jin Let On 履按 to the Right.
The question is where is the positon of the body weight at the end of the 履按勁? Is the body weight still leave on your Left leg or the body weight move from Left leg to the Right ler at the Jin ended?
Thx
I think I can do the Link deleted
more accurate now
There are other area that you need to understand which is difficult to explain, the area is concerning the limb and jin transmission path and release. However, the jin generation is acceptable. I check the account and found that I may miss pressing the button for sending out.
In theory, a single jin is having only one pillar and usually until end of a move which have several jin. The jin complex – LET-ON that shown is having another jin connecting to the first to keep opposition in an unbalance so he will not do anything bad on you. The two jins are connected to form a jin spiral.
Clarence,
Is this a missing one I forget to post to you? I have been very busy and confused sometime. Sorry for that.

The spinning of pelvis is OK
Link deleted
The spinning of pelvis is OK only the step is double weight and the pillar and brake function of the legs are not distinguishable. The three Jin are clear .
FYI, it is Jin3 of Single Whip

This has another name Lazy Clothing, it is a move connecting to Single Whip

To understand the sequence, have a look below.

Pang Sifu,
Yes. I did not receive this one.
Now that I see your video that explain the Jin3 and Lazy Cloth.
I understand the connection between them in the Link deleted video.
Thx
Pang Sifu,
Please check my video.
FYI
I watch your new video on Jun 1st talked about running.
There is a book talk about CHI Running exist.
Link deleted
Clarence,
Thanks for your tip.
The expert has his running organized in a way that have difference focus from us. Because it is their expert that I do not want to enter into discussion of why they do it in these muscle sequence of coordinating the joints. He has his start by hanging the pelvis outside the two foot areas to ignite the running. He knows to curve the pelvis to the front ….(please refer to our publication for missing details)… and avoiding the risk of especially knee joint pain.
We move the pelvis forwards to gain a horizontal distance in front by spinning on the pelvis ball and socket joint so that our thigh move forwards in a way, on the circumference, that we lift up the thigh first, to the front and put the foot down to the ground, not pounding on to the ground as many runner do. The distance were gained by small horizontal distance, thus it can be frequent small step in a single spin of pelvis corner. The horizontal movement is fitting the nature plane of movement allow by the knee and backbone joints. Thus it is not pounding of thigh bone onto the lower leg bone which result harming the knee, and in the long run get a knee joint damage and pain.
Regards
William
Clarence,
You quite understand the move now. Only that the last Jin is to step forwards steadily the left leg as the pillar first, once set, the right side of pelvis will has to propel the lower arm bone cut it to the front. The arm could only perform the strike by a firm pillar on the left.

Your course is almost done. The last is follow. The two fist get into position in different time and thus cross not in the middle.

Working on all the moves together in whole form. My body is so stiff and look so ugly.
It’s at the stage that the traditional way, “human contact” is require to further with the training. No way to learn kung fu just by watching videos.
I grasp the basic. Love to explore more. Hopefully I can meet you in person sometime in the near future in HK. I have only been back to HK for 3-4 time in the last 30+ yrs. I may visit HK in 2 years. I want to go to see the Bruce Lee exhibition before it end.
You can mention my name in your writings. I have no shame of learning some valuable knowledge from you, Pang sifu. I just do not qualify to say I know anything about Tai Chi at all.
