「中心」善長「勁」的研究和應用 (English)
「中心」初期是義務團體,主要是彭老師與眾同道太極友好,一同練習和研究趙堡太極拳;在定期聚會中,一同探究發勁方法和原理,後因資料視頻頗多,遂建立前稱「福音太極」,現稱「趙堡太極拳發勁研究中心」的網址(www.gospeltaichi.org),以供交流。在破解太極拳神秘力量謎團之後,再選取趙堡太極拳中的六式,以左右對稱的方法,編寫成稱為「勁太極十二式」的簡短套路,專門用於教授發勁內功。「勁」是指本「中心」所研究、發勁的單元、「勁」法的意思。
「勁」是太極發勁運動中的單一次「勁」力;就如生物學的基本研究「單位」是細胞一樣,明白細胞就明白生命。單一次的「勁」亦是內功研究的基本「單位」,明白一次「勁」之後,就會了解構成中外武術和各體育運動的基本單位。「勁」有三個組成因子:重量組件、軌道和方向,掌握得好,發勁和接勁技巧高超,自然在太極拳藝、中外武術和各體育運動上、功力得到大幅提升,表現更勝一籌。
有經歷過、感受過「勁太極」、在發勁、減壓、養生和自衛好處的成員,以為「勁」是很勁、很利害的意思,這是美麗的誤會。「勁太極」在保健養生、發勁自衛和樂趣減壓方面,的確享有成就。亦有人誤以為「勁太極學院」的網址(www.kingtaichi.org)內的英文KING,同樣是皇者很勁、很利害的意思,它實是廣東話「勁」的近音,亦有皇者、天道物理正宗的意思。它對減低生活和工作壓力方面的效果,是來自其按物理法則、在練習後、便能夠重演太極大師的功法、使學員感覺良好、舒服、自信,自得其樂,亦渴望練習、渴望與眾同樂,這是「勁太極」提振精神的道理。
A系列代表發勁動作的英語Action,過百選項。藉仿真範例方法,學員先從中找出有興趣的標題,進行模仿發勁練習,嘗試用自己視頻對比其中的差距,借助其它書櫃的項目,探究找出背後的物理原則,直到大師水準。A係列均只看動作,並無語言屏障。其中有M碼代表英語的Masters。The A series means Fa Jin ACTION , over hundred items. By the Emulate-Worked Example method, student first sort out according to the video titles of own interest, then try to imitate the action, compare with own video performance, researching and applying the physics principle behind with the help from other Book Shells, until mastery. The M code means MASTERS. There is no language barrier for these items, as only the action is important. |

The Centre is well known because of its research on JIN
The “Zhao Bao Tai Chi Fa Jin Research Centre”(or simply the Centre) started as a voluntary group gather tai chi practitioners and friends to play and research on Fa Jin. After several years, there are plentiful of video material on the theme, thus the Gospel Tai Chi web sites are set up and was later rename as the “Zhao Bao Tai Chi Fa Jin Research Centre” with the official address www.gospeltaichi.org providing a platform for communication of our progress in fa jin skills. After cracking open the secret of fa jin scientifically, the Centre selects 6 moves from the Zhao Bao Tai Chi and plays each move alternatively left and right, composing it into the “King 12 Moves”(or Jin 12 Moves, Jin and King are the different pronunciation of the same Chinese character), specifically for teaching fa jin skills by modern physics principles. The word “Jin” is the focus of our research, it is the basic unit of force power.
“Jin” is the single force in tai chi fa jin sport, just like the “cell” is the basic unit of life in biology, understanding it would allow one to understand biological life. Understand one “jin” could understand how actions are composed of. There are 3 basic factors in a Jin, including the mass, the velocity and the direction. If apply appropriately, the Jin skills can promote the performance level of all candidates in all sports, a boost up in their kung fu inside the body.
In the past, some of the Centre members misunderstood that Jin mean “Very Strong” as implied by its Chinese character. It is Tony Lit, one of our member who fixed this name after a taste of fa jin and invited a calligrapher in China to write the calligraphy “Jin Tai Chi” for the Centre. The English name “King Tai Chi” was name given by our another member Anthony Ma, who has the thought that the fa jin skills that the Centre teaching is in according to the law of physics which not even the tai chi grand masters can defy. All people who do whatever exercise has to obverse it carefully, thus it is the “King” of the Universe setting up the rules and everyone has to follow so far as not yet migrated to other universe. On the other hand, “Jin” has the similar sound as “king” in Cantonese. It matches perfectly. Even the name of our second paradigm “Tai Chi Jin Mechanics-Zhao Bao Style” was also fixed by our other member, Franky Lai, who perceived the scientific meaning behind Jin precisely during an afternoon tea discussion. Anyway, members are all feeling well in proper reasoning, self confident and health improvement that they love to enjoy and share this “King Tai Chi” with others.
